Millers v Oxford

Just had a look at the fixtures for Tuesday night.

Charlton -v- Bradford

Peterborough -v- Scunny

The teams around us can't all win.  Some are going to drop more points.

Further up, Blackburn are at Portsmouth and Shrewsbury have a trip to Fleetwood.  Neither of those are easy away games.  All good for the Millers if we can take care of our own business.  We can't take our own game lightly but if we can get the three points the table will look even better.

Warne has the option to freshen things up without necessarily weakening the team but I am guessing he won't make many changes if any.

3-1 to the Millers.

There really is a good feel about this squad Warney has put together. The will to win and work for each other is there to see. When we have a strong bench to bring players who are very good,it is so re-assuring to know that we have many options available.Bringing on Ryan Williams , is a prime example and PW could have used Palmer and Taylor, two outstanding players.Well done Warney,I think we can go all the way with this young hungry squad.

I've just got a nagging feeling that this one could be a potential banana skin for us. It would be a shame to pick up the points at Scunny and then not capitalise at home to a mid-table side. But Oxford score a few goals, have some good players and might come and play with freedom, which makes them potentially dangerous. I'm sure Warney won't allow any complacency to creep in. We have seen before that anyone can beat anyone on the day. We need to be right on our game from the off.

if we do win tonight, and then get something from the Shrews game... can we start using the 'W' word ??

Our last visit, and Revell's goal, which I never tire of watching, will always be one of the best days of my life... :)

From season we went up from league 2 yes, but not from league 1... hope it is a spooky coincidence with same outcome though! biggrin

Jeez don't say that. 6 months prior I damaged ankle ligaments real badly, after deciding to go on the train from Exeter and walking the mile to the ground - when we scored I jumped up to quickly and ended up in agony screaming while all around me including my boy (8 at the time) were going bananas celebrating. I was the dodgy character walking out of Home Park limping very slowly!

Hoping for a good game tonight, haven't been since Blackburn (even though that was good), and can't remember last time we made it to a night game.

I'll give you a few W words, starting with Warning, look what's happened to Wigan, they're suddenly having a Wobble. Better to use the C word for Consistency, Climbing the table, and Come on you reds until we get to the Culmination of the season. Then hope we actually manage automatic promotion to the Championship.

We're doing fine at the minute, let's hope we continue to do so, and the excitement can keep on building, but please don't start to expect a successful conclusion.

PS making sure that the back end of May is completely free of appointments...........
