Think Monk is going back to Swansea. Wouldn't bet against Nigel Pearson for Owls job. Still lives in Sheffield and now his kids have grown up he'll be less concerned about taking a local job.
Wednesday are in bed with Doyen Sports, who do a lot of their recruitment, get involved with trading player image rights, etc. They are somewhat controversial. My guess is that they will appoint an overseas manager with no track record here but who has links to the Doyen people. They have some links to Atletico Madrid, and the Assistant Manager there is a surprise name in the early odds. I'm lumping on him. Purely a hunch.
