I'm not sure RUFC are shopping around for a new manager/coach. They don't want to splash the cash on a quality individual. I reckon they'll go with the cheaper option until the point of no return when we are nearly touching the bottom of the league table.
Gary Megson has got his appetite back and has never left Sheffield. It probably wouldn't be pretty but his style gets results and at least would stem the downhill trend.
Grayson has a fantastic track record. He was given no time to turn round the enormous problems he inherited at Sunderland. But we have no chance of getting him in as manager. He would have been on vast amounts of money at Sunderland relative to what we pay. I doubt he will be out of work longer than he wants to be and you have to think there are some big payers out there who will want him at some stage. And of course we haven't got a vacancy. I agree though that he would be a great fit for a club like ours.

If we're skint then there ain't a snowball's chance in hell of signing up new players or a manager in January 2018.
Looks as though the season ticket holders will have to grin and bear it until the end of the season.
As for the pay on the day support. That too will begin to fade.
Theres always the question of course; would an experienced pro be enticed (stupid enough) to come and manage Rotherham, even if the funds were there. I would expect by now that the real reasons for Jackett's shock resignation would have been aired on the bush telegraph and in the football managerial world the bosses job at NYS would be regarded as something akin to a poisoned chalice in a bit of a joke club.

Which always makes the "50 applicants have applied for the managers job and some are very high profile" look like the *******s it is more bullshine fed to the loyal supporters
all out conversations on this topic may be antagonizing other fans. but we want warne to succeed
if mid table and growth from there is the aim then be honest just tell the fans the truth
