Same as the previous named post but two weeks on and no lessons learned eh mr Warne .
I don’t know what the players do in training but I’m sure passing to a team mate isn’t one of the the items .
Sort it out Tony. Get rid of warne and get us a decent manager ASAP no cut corners this time please .
I'd say we at least played a better formation with Moore and Ball upfront and 442. Pity Towell was the left winger and not Newell. Wigan were the better side and were very organised.
Paul Warnes red & white Army needs to disband & Quickly. Only Ball & surprisingly Mattock came out of that debacle with any credit. Is Rodek a better keeper than O'Donnell? Is he, really? Ihekwe caught Ajayi's virus of rank terrible defending. Potter has gone from the first name on the teamsheet to the reserves IMO, Frecks was awful, Moore has lost his mojo, in short it's all going tits up & I'm sorry if I yet again upset people but the buck has to stop with the management team who at the very least should be given some form of ultimatum by TS. All very disappointing.
Rodak or O'Donnell? What did O'Donnell do wrong last Saturday to get dropped? ***mings or Emmanuel? Neither convincing. Mattock or Purrington? Much of a muchness and neither great. Which two out of Ihiekwe, Wood or Ajayi? I still trust Wood more than the other two and Wood is past his prime. Wide players - which two from Newell, Williams, Taylor and Forde (today Towell preferred wide to Newell and Williams)? Will we ever see Bray again? Potter wants to play walking football and sadly Frecks is a yard off the pace even when fit. Vaulks isn't an improvement. David Ball not yet established and we are not playing to his strengths. Warne's comment that we used him well today to link up play had me scratching my head. Moore has the heart of a lion but is leaving soon.
The truth is we are just not very good. And I don't buy the 'rebuilding' argument. We don't have anything to rebuild with. We only have three players who I would be bothered about keeping and two of those three don't belong to us. The younger players (who aren't actually all that young) are all struggling to establish themselves.
Wigan were much better than us all over the pitch. Now the division has settled down you can see there is a gulf between the top few and the rest. All the better teams have turned us over except Scunny who we were fortunate to beat.
This run of games without a win has included games against four bad sides as well as a couple of good ones. We are now much nearer points wise to relegation than to the play-offs, don't look like we know what we are trying to do, and are in a terrible run of form. If it is true that we have a top five budget then we have wasted it, because we are a million miles from being a top five side.
Smiler - the essence of a good post is timing. I must stop posting 2 minutes before you and give myself chance to digest your excellent observations before I commit pen to paper!

Just done the same on another thread! Your opinions are very valid also. Truth is we are probably an average team in what is largely a poor division. Can we agree on that?
