O'Donnell - didn't do anything wrong (subject to need to check whether he got his angles right for the first goal)

Cu mmings - defensively ok but very limited

Wood - looks what he is - a good pro and no nonsense defender who is past his best

Ajayi - makes at least one big mistake every game and they often get punished

Mattock - not his worst game but don't understand the idea behind giving him a new contract

Potter - needs to do more

Vaulks - for me, a combative league two footballer

Towell - took his goal well but very little else he tried came off

Williams - like him but he  had a bit of a stinker today.  He is a confidence player and he seems to have lost it - sponsors man of match (lolz)

Newell - worked harder than usual but cut a frustrated figure

Moore - beaten up as usual, worked hard as usual, not his day

Subs

JCH - won a few knock downs but touch let him down a couple of times

Frecks - unfortunately the best footballer in the club is only fit for 50% of our games

Forde - limited time to have any impact.  Still not sure what he is good at but I accept I must be missing something because he keeps getting picked

Overall - one dimensional, lacking in quality, four out of back five were part of last season's goals-against-fest and still look shellshocked, losing our way.

"four out of back five were part of last season's goals-against-fest"

I think is a very big problem that Warne doesn't see....

For me Emmanuel and Purrington at full backs, and Woods and Wicky is our best back 4, accepting that Woods needs a replacement when possible.
