Football matters - Ben Pringle returning to play for The Millers ?

It's been rumoured that Ben Pringle may return to NYS in January 2018.  Fulham didn't want him. He went to Ipswich. From there he travelled and signed up for Preston North End. Preston now, it is alleged, want to release him when the January transfer window opens.  BP is fast becoming a journeyman.

Even though he shone in the many games he played for us I'm not sure that he is the type of player we need right now.

What's my gripe? Well, he never liked to head the ball. Lots of footballers don't head the ball, you might say. Gary Lineker was a very successful footballer. He avoided heading the ball but he made up for that with other silky skills.

Onwards and Upwards!

Rock n' Roll  with Rotherham United

He was great player during his time with us, but i wouldnt have him back, with the wingers we have, Taylor Williams Newell and Forde, i wouldnt spend money in that area of the team, we have enough there. Centre back and a Keeper are main areas we need to be looking at, another Striker would be nice in jan as well 🤔

Differing opinion I'd have him back. Yes he has failings but he has a left foot like a wand, he knows Warne & the club, he had his best days with us, I just think it might work that's all.

Funny how people see things differently.

No doubt he has a good left foot, but he also has (in my opinion) a lack of pace and physicality.

I wouldn't have him back.

My daughter thinks he is the bees knees. It wouldn't be the first time she was right and I was wrong.

I doubt he would come back anyway. He didn't leave in the best of cir***stances as he himself has said (from his perspective).

Not for me. Fulham, Ipswich and Preston were/are clearly not keen. Coming back to us may be seen as an easy way to a three or two year income option.
