Still awaiting confirmation on the seriousness of the injury Frecks picked up in the first couple of minutes of the Rochdale game. Thankfully we've got sufficient cover in midfield but I always feel more comfortable with him on the teamsheet. Looking to the longer term, and because of him being prone to injury - particularly at this late stage in his playing career - I hope he considers going into coaching and eventually joins PW's team. He's got a great work ethic and could be just the kind of guy we need encourage the youngsters along. He's a townie of mine from just outside Lincoln so family/travel would not be an issue for him.
For me Frecks has been the stand out player for us in the last five years. I think we have to accept based on recent times that he will miss games so its good we have got midfield options.
I don't know what Frecks is like as an individual but he has always been a leader on the pitch and a player who seems to understand the game. If he is interested in and cut out for a coaching career I can see how he could be a valuable asset.
