I didn't think they were far off being a decent side but Sheridan was using the 'if I am still here on Tuesday' language post match so it isn't a surprise. They crumbled in the end but were in the game for long periods. Apparently they have plans for some investment from someone subject to the fit and proper person test etc. That would make me nervous tbh because looking at their forums briefly (apologies if I have got it wrong) they already have players being recruited by an agent connected in some way to the proposed new owner. That sort of tie in failed very badly at Doncaster. I hope it all works out for them.
