Poor decision by the ref!

Just watched the disallowed goal on the RUFC Twitter site!!Wow, the ref could not have been closer and still got the decision 100% wrong, if Vaulks header had not gone in it should have been a penalty as Moore was pulled to the ground by the Huddersfield player....No wonder players get absolutely peed off with the officials at times, can't wait to see Saturday's card happy chappie in action!!!

Can only go on the highlights, their pen - someone explain to me what exactly Woody did? - as I don't see it. For our shout, to me it looked 6 of one half a dozen of the other and maybe our free kick, and it started outside the box, the refs positioning is very poor he has one of our players directly blocking it so how he made the judgement call he did he will have some explaining to do in his report to his assessor.

Beyond that, we lost because Moore & particularly JCH didn't put 2 chances players on their pay grade should be putting away 999 times out of 1000.

Probably best to get that ref in a game that hardly matters really though isn't it?

The point is though, if it was not a foul, it goes 2-2 and who knows what happens from there. Too many games are decided by officials instead of football.

We do seem (over the years not just this season, although that has started badly in this respect) to be on the receiving end of some very poor decisions, compared to those times we might get lucky with them.

I really wish the 'video referral' system would come into the game in my lifetime, it is at least 10 years overdue in Football...

I've looked at the replay of the penalty incident over and over again, and I cannot see any sort of infringement at all. Of course the camera is following play and there may have been something out of camera shot, but from the evidence available I can see absolutely nothing to warrant a foul.
