I can remember the last time he was with us on loan. It nearly cost us another season in the Championship.

I did get told the centre back was a lad from Brentford on loan deal though.
Not heard anything about Rawson but i would take him,Would still like to see Dom Ball given time to come good.

If this comes off, it will be a great bit of business by Paul Warne. Rawson was very impressive when with us on loan and many wanted us to go in for him on a permanent basis. With Rawson we'll have 3 quality CBs which is good for competition and coverage. Gets my vote!

2nd time Rawson was with us didn't look as impressive. It's a no for me. Same like to see Do Ball given a chance. Midfielder proper signing priority. Potter & Frecks wrong side of 30.

Derby connection tells me he'svery slow and stiff and we can have him ! Agree with T71 we desperately need some legs in centre midfield.

I never really thought Rawson was that good. I thought he was wholehearted and as strong as an ox, but quite slow and clumsy. I would like to think we could do better.

I also agree if we can only have one more signing make it an athletic central midfielder.

Spoke to a mate in Derby today,He told me that Rawson was offered a new deal by the club and has turned it down so they are trying to off load him in the transfer window to get something for him before he can sign for free in January.

Derby are looking to get 50k for him as this is what his wages are on his current deal for the season.

heard that Derby want to loan him out rather than sell, and we want to buy him rather thasn loan him in.
