Just reading the Warne interview about Ball, talk about having a dig at the previous strikers (Ward et al)

Here's some quotes:

"Like I said I feel that he has a little more class than what we had before.”

"I think we have lacked a little bit of creativity up top and I think he'll give us that."

Unusual behaviour from Warne, maybe he will wear a suit now in the dugout LOL

 I think he's spot on.

Being positive, I think we are assembling a group of forward/midfield players who will give us options.

We still need an out and out goalscorer.  We don't have anybody at present likely to get more than 15 goals in a season.

Defence still more of a concern now than attack.

Happy with Ball signing... you've got to say we ARE actually landing some of the players we named this time around, which is encouraging...

Aparently there could be 2 loan players coming in from Ipswich,When they bid for Danny Ward they offered the two players as part of the deal but Ward chose to go to Uncle Collin.
McCarthy is still keen for them to come here on loan by all accounts.
They are a right back Josh Emmanuel, and a 6ft 5inch striker they signed from Forrest green last year called Moore.

I will be bit disappointed if we don't do quite a bit more business.

We had a poor squad with the losing habit last season. Lets face it that squad was out of its depth. We have taken out the only decent forward we had (Ward), our only other goalscoring threat (Adeyemi) and a midfield battler (Smallwood) out of it. Have we added more than we have lost? I don't think so.

Where is the 25 goal a season man that Warne said we needed?

Will we go into the Fleetwood game with four of the same defenders that looked so shaky last season? It looks that way.

Still need to see a lot of players go through the Out door.

I can't wait for the season to start as usual, but I'm not brimming with confidence.

Like to see Broadfoot, Belaid & Blackstock go ASAP. Not that fussed about Price. Taylor if we can get back what we paid for him another who can go.

In a keeper, midfield player to replace Adeyemi. Another striker assuming we have signed Proctor. Right back but we've got Vaulks & Fisher.

Looking forward to the new season. My player to watch out for Bailey-King looked to have some scope when I saw him last game of last season. JCH will rip this division to threads.

last year I said I was quietly confident at the start of the season with the squad that had been assembled-Blackstock ,Forster-Caskey-both got pedigree;Taylor-proven goalscoring winger;Vaulks,Allan,Fisher-sounded decent: Well we know how that all ended up don't we.

This year -sod it I am confident again.

I suppose that is why I am a Rotherham supporter.confuseconfuse

The two from Ipswich are coming I'm informed, the right back is highly rated by big mick the big striker moore needs confidence and goals, he struggled with the step up from conference to championship so big mick wants him out on loan for six months until end of January.
The other lad at right back is a season long loan.
