I don't wish him well, not when he deserted our sinking ship after just a few weeks.

I hope he fails miserably at Pompey.    furious

He'll inherit a good fan base. Not like at the New York. One bad season in TS reign & quite a few call time with there support. Ring any bells on here.

Interesting how a coward turns his back because job to much for him gets sympathy but SE received so much bile after doing a fantastic job

I admire both Evans and Jackett for very different reasons, loved Evans to bits for obvious reasons gave me personally one of the best days of my life at Millmoor and will stay with me forever. Can't see Jackett as a coward but can see where you are coming from, I guess we will never know the true reasons behind his sudden departure but I look at Warnocks departure too and together their god nose how many games managed between them must be 1,000+ and come to the conclusion that they both can't be wrong when they decided to go, for me I think he was promised money for new signings/loans and when the time came he had the rug pulled from under him for whatever reason. I could be totally wrong though and respect other peoples opinions of him

Very surprised but delighted when Jackett came here. For the first time I thought actions where now backing up the rhetoric from the club. None of us know the truth but the guy did have a reputation to uphold and if he wasn't backed as he expected then anyone with any self respect would have walked. Was Jackett to blame? Who knows but the finger of blame could quite easily be pointed elsewhere perhaps.
