My heart wants me to buy season tickets for me and my two children. It is going to cost me about £300 more than it would if we supported Doncaster Rovers and wanted to watch them in the same division. Can anyone reassure me that our performances next year will be worth the extra money? Or do football clubs think that they don't have to worry about what the competition charge because it isn't a normal market and up to a point they can take support for granted? I think we know the answer. My head says I think I might pay on the gate and see how we start the season. The savings on season tickets compared to pay on the gate are modest to be honest, and I have got a terrible feeling that I might regret forking out up front. I think the club is getting a lot of things very wrong at the moment.

The way I look at it Smiler is that not renewing season tickets demonstrates to the club we are not daft and are fed up with the lack of positive changes. As you say, you don't save much by buying a season ticket anyway - you only need to miss a few games and it's the same. So - if you buy a season ticket and nothing at the club changes and we struggle - you'll feel like you've been robbed and have just been duped into forking out again.

Whereas if we do see positive changes and decide it's worth getting back on the band wagon, you'll feel better about buying the half year season ticket and going to games.

TS needs to get the message he needs to sort things out rather than just carrying on with the same rubbish staff he has and repeating the same mistakes over and over.

This season is the first season for a long time I've actually not enjoyed going, and I travel down from Scotland to see games, so it's a long long trip back after this season's tripe I can tell you!

I'd much rather see how things go and then decide if they deserve my money.

I doubt season ticket sales will give anyone at the club too much to worry about given the difference it will make.

since I intend going to games with the boys and mates I will be renewing simply because it seems to make sense to renew. Im also somewhat practical in that I do enjoy watching football and its a break from the normal routine of living each day. Im also passing the culture on to the kids and keeping in touch with mine. And, of course there is the convenience of not having to order a ticket.

I am also not going to be left ticketless when we draw Manchester untied in the 6th round of the cup

Paul Douglas & the rest of the paper shufflers at RUFC should google the phrase "business a***en".
Shop units unused, no "multi tickets" for people like myself who through work commitments cannot commit to a ST, negligible supporter interaction, etc, etc

Some of our lads work occasional alternative Saturdays and can't get to every game. We share a season ticket and it gets used for most games.

I could be wrong but have Season ticket prices been the same price for the last 5 seasons ?

If that's true then the club could have increased them slightly to gain a little bit of extra revenue. They chose not to increase so to me it's swings & roundabouts. No brainer for me I will be re-newing

 Price released got my vote.

Season tickets. Are we supporters or just go when we're winning. This is the time to stand up & be counted. I'm getting my season ticket in May. TS deserves backing. One bad season in 9 not to bad when you look at it that way.

T71 Im a Miller. I've seen bad, I've seen good (L2 to L1 to Champ) but I have never seen a club run so badly, as ameture, as it has since we were promoted to the championship. Broken promises, lost signings, revelations about ground ownership the list is endless.

I at this time have no faith at all in Tony Stewart, I do not belive a word of his or his flunkies spiel, too many times has a quote been made only to result in zero action.

I have to ask and should i be present at the much trumpeted fans forum would like an answer to the missing millions this season. Now i could accept the answer of paying off of former managerial mistakes but come out and let us know.

No I dont think TS needs backing I think he needs to give us answers and until then backing from me he wont get !!

52yrs I've been watching the Millers. Purhouse, Anton, Boothy chairmen up till TS came along. 2 wouldn't reinvest. Other did invest but with whose money. Boothy I didn't mind him, everybody was shouting Boothy out. What happened when did get out. TS his mistake is keeping faith with Paul Douglas. Need someone more up to speed. Being conned by Blackstock proved that. Fans forum what's the point. We're in league 1 next season. TS is a good business man, wouldn't have got were he his now if he wasn't. He's genuine, a man of his word. Back him or what's the alternative. There's no big investment out there. Sad but how many Sheff' fans both clubs are from Rotherham?
