How does a defender "impress" in a 5 goal whupping? Am I getting it wrong or aren't the defenders supposed to stop goals???

Sounds a bit like the comments made after the Ajayi deal NY. I have to say I never seen the lad play so can't comment. But the statement went something like …He made two mistakes that led to two goals…but he has potential, so we signed him permanent.

As I say I've never seen the lad play and hope Warne(s) is right, but it does look like the Warne(s) deal is also done. Worse record than Redfern or Stubbs so we have him as manager ? Its all falling in place, lets hope its not all falling to apart.

Sorry Towdlad but I think it is (or will be ) a complete failure giving Warne(s) the job. WHEN it happens L2 beckons
