About right Towdlad, couple of bevies then jump in the Audi and back to the 500K+ house somewhere to watch football on the telly thinking thats me that is
Warne calls Sunday inquest does he. And just who is going to preside over this inquest Paul? Who is going to hold the inquest on your pathetic tactics, your inability to manage the players, and your frankly pathetic media skills. The only call I want to hear about is the one where you call the Chairman and resign from a job that you are patently incapable of doing. And before the Warne lovers start whining it's not his fault, he's only doing what Tony Stewart has asked him to do. I say it's about time Warne manned up and admitted to both himself and the Chairman that he is not up to the job and never will be. So long Paul it's been nice knowing you as a bloke, but it's been a nightmare watching your pathetic attempt at being a Manager.
Players from the club were in Crystal nightclub in Sheffield on sat night late into the early hours! My Friend works on the door and text me on Sunday to tell me his friend knows who they were and is going to let me know today. Its a club where all the local footballers go,Gary Cahill and Harry Mcguire were in on saturday and the Rotherham players were chatting with Cahill after he scored the winner for Chelsea.

He may well be having the conversations about why this is so bad with the purse string boys but they may also be telling him to carry on and encouraging him to keep going as I am sure they are.
The club simply wont appoint anyone until the new season. That opportunity floated down the river many months ago
We unfortunately have to take this long dreary walk to the Gallows without any sign of a revolution or a banner to rally around once the dirty work has been done...
It just might be the scaffolds will have more business to support before long.
Paul Warne said in his post-match interview that we were outclassed (by what is a pretty ordinary Championship side). How long could an inquest take? What else is there to say?
I don't doubt that a few of the players get out and about to clubs etc. They shouldn't but they do and always have done. It doesn't sit well though does it when they are collectively playing so poorly? I know they are human beings, young men with money to spend etc and I don't expect footballers to be saints, but I would like to think that if I was in their shoes I would realise that my chances of earning such good money over a longer period of time would be improved by looking after myself and being a 'good professional'. Being in a relegated side doesn't tend to add value to your career earnings.
I would hope that when deciding whether or not to sign players we would look not only at the quality of their passing, heading and so on but also at their quality as individuals. We are obviously have a lack of technical ability, but the way that we collapse in the face of adversity suggests that we also have a lack of character and good professionals.
If you ask people at the club about Alex Revell, they will tell you that he was first to put his hand in the air when they needed volunteers to visit schools, hospices etc, last to leave the sponsors lounge after a game, and one of the best trainers we had on the books. The effort we all saw on the pitch was matched by his professionalism off it. It didn't make him a gifted footballer but it made him a leader and an important member of a successful side. Clubs need people like that in their ranks and I don't think we've had enough of them this season.
Smiler Don't think there's any Revell's in this bunch of shirkers. Love to know what time the Sunday inquest began if half of them were clubbing in Sheffield til the early hours. I'd have driven the team bus straight to NYS after that debacle and made them watch the video all night.
