The 'O's. Look at them now

Our vanquished foes in that great Wembley play off final, Are we going to go the same way football wise???

LEAGUE TWO strugglers Leyton Orient have been served with a winding-up order for its unpaid taxes, it was revealed yesterday.

HM Revenue and Customs served the petition — which could force Leyton to fold after 112 years in the football league — on February 2 and the case should go to the High Court on March 20.

The east London outfit’s debts exceed its assets by more than £5.5 million, according to financial records from June 30 2015, the most recent available.

Francesco Becchetti took over the club in 2014 and has presided over a slide in fortunes with the O’s sliding down the football league.

Supporters have held angry protests over his running of the club, accusing him of deliberately engineering the clubs relegation from the football league “out of spite.” They are currently second from bottom of League Two, six points shy of safety.

It could easily happen to us as I don't think we have as much money as Tony wants us to think we have, hence the invisible £1m+ bids that in truth never happened. Our finances will take a massive hit in L1.

I feel very sorry for them.

Can't have such a battle as we did with them and not feel empathy.

I hope they have a rise in fortunes again soon.

There but by the grace of God.

And yes it could certainly Happen to us again.

People might say 'could have been us' blah blah - we all know its cos of who that old geezer chairman sold it to - you knew it was bad when that Italian TV channel owner bloke then made the O's the subject of a reality TV program.

Utter laughing stock & a warning to anyone seeking foreign investment
