If yesterday's non display doesn't convince Tony Stewart it's time to take decisive action on the managerial situation nothing will. Paul Warne proved yesterday that he is not a manager, he is tactically inept and despite the happy clappers on here's claim that he can motivate the players. I and the other hardy band who made the trip yesterday can tell you there was no evidence of this at Cardiff. This has to rank as one of the worst displays that I have ever seen in my 65 years of supporting the Miller's. I said on a previous thread that the job would destroy a thoroughly decent man, well it's happening and Tony Stewart's to blame.
For all our sakes and for the sake of your own sanity, quit the job Paul. Now to turn to the players with a couple of notable exceptions your display yesterday was gutless, you concede and your heads drop and the end result is inevitable. I don't want to here Paul Warne apologising on your behalf to the fans, I want to here you. Yesterday's performance was unfathomable. You should stick your hand in your pocket and offer some financial recompense to the fans who went yesterday. We didn't get on your backs and we tried to support you right to the end of the game even though you didn't deserve it. Some of those same fans will be at Brentford next week because that is what we do, but even our patience is wearing thin. We can take it if your not as good as the opposition but the least we deserve is that you try and do not throw the towel in at the first setback.
We expect better at Brentford next week, no let me rephrase that we demand better, another display like Cardiff and even I might be persuaded to take a leaf out of your book and stop turning up.
