Good. Battling display against a team with several times our resources. Can't ask for more. You boys are supporting the wrong team. We will never be much better than this. I enjoyed it. Go support Wednesday please and let us enjoy the beginning of the Paul warns era. UTM
Fliker, what is wrong with saying we should have been more positive and tried to win the game instead of putting a defensive midfielder on for a striker and a defender for a winger?
We can't defend and haven't been able to all season. Guess what, we tried to hang on for a point and lost. I would have rather lost having a proper go for it when 2-2.
I agree Flicker, it is about building for the future this year has gone. Listening to it it sounded like we did our best to win a game against a good team. Get behind the team now more than ever.
Best performance for ages enjoyed game , but i dont think Warne is the answer you only have to see his changes tonight relegation cant come quick enough so we can get new manager and start to build for next season
If you look at the bench we had no positive subs to bring on. We brought on blackstok then that was it. They brought on arguably 10-15 million pounds worth of subs and we had..... get a reality check fellers. Sorry oneaday I still can't see the part where you say we should have been more positive only the part where you criticise the. Keeper and the manager. By the way with a tiring midfield and an injured Ward what would you have done?
Criticising the negativity hence stating we should be more positive. Not rocket science.
Bray or Forde should have replaced Yates with Taylor moving into an inside forward position like he did against Blackburn.
Blackstock for Ward when he got injured.
Smallwood for Taylor late on when he got a knock.
All this crap about reality check and watching Wednesday is simply that, crap. We all know what we are but playing for a point at home when you've nothing to lose is poor.

I also agree Fliker. Let Warne put his own team together. Its slowly coming together. He has made a couple of decent signings already and has definitely improved the team and the attitude and endeavour of the players. It sounded a good game on player. Lady luck just not playing fair at the moment. Very pleased with the effort against a far stronger and better equipped team. The commentators on Player said Ward was taken off after receiving a knock. Precautionary.
It was a missed opportunity to reach 20 points and a turning point to build on that for next season. Getting relegated with a low number of points will haunt us for the foreseeable future.
My guess on the points for this season thread was 30 and relegated, that's clearly over optimistic; we might break the record. Also if you are playing for a point make sure you get one.
1 point is absolutley no good to us whats so ever. we are now what 14 points behind Burton who have conceeded 24 goals less so to all intents and purposed 15 points adrift and they have a game in hand. 14 games left at 1 point a game, do the club need me to come in and do the maths for them. Even IF we win SOME of these 14 we need the 3 teams above us to completely implode. So why not go out with a bang, all guns blazing, having a bloody go not sitting on the edge of our 18 yard box trying to nurse home a point !!
Me & my lad enjoyed a cracking game of football. Lots of chances, was pretty end to end - we appreciated it for what it is. We don't need the points, we're down get over it. But the performance was fantastic, particularly little Johnny Taylor.
The lads were clearly blowing out their backsides by 75 minutes due to the immense effort, and when you take off Ward, Yates & Taylor then what do you expect when you can only bring on Smallwood, Blackstock & Mattock. That is a product of our amateurish football club player acquisition, it's nothing to do with Warney - if players have run through a brick wall and become kanckered - you have to take them off end of.
Yes it was gutting at the end, you really felt for those players. As soon as that ball dropped out the sky I thought 'oh poo', you could tell the body shape was perfect and how well did he hit that? - money buys you that, that preparedness to stick in that extra 50k or 100k to get what you need - that we simply won't or cannot do. The difference between Huddersfield last & this season is night and day. But good luck to them, we've had our away days like that and I'm sure there'll be more in the future.
While we may be short on quality for this division, on last night we're not short of heart, and seriously when we pay, put the time & effort in to support them, can we ask for any more than that?
Difficult to say whats best when one is having such a difficult season in every area.
I have enjoyed the last 2 games too. It also has to be said that we VwARNE is not doing so well in some ways but a couple of things do look like we might move in the right direction.
Its go to where it is and its difficult to see any sort of specific rebuilding thats going on and with that the Jury is still out and will be until warne is either replaced or makes a success of L1.
Personally i have and still am in favour of manager coming in. The board clearly havent been though and thats their choice and one that in the short term at least has been proved to be wrong.

Well said Exeter .... glad to hear you and your lad had a great day at NYS. I think Warne will do OK and the recruitment should get better this summer hopefully. The players Warne has added already look like they are a big improvement. I just can't believe the run of bad luck with injuries and ref decisions this year. I think that certainly hasn't helped our plight.
If Warne stays he will have my support and I am sure there will be lessons learned by all and we can move on after this shambles of a season has finished. A few decent additions in summer, and with the effort Warne and the lads are putting in, I think next season will be much improved
Definition of madness - keep doing the same things and expecting a different outcome. No sign of any change in approach; buy crocks, publicly declare interest in targets for signing and appoint unsuitable managers. I doubt you'd be so chipper if you were paying to watch this ****e week in week out.
And there is the problem when you an expat. I have tried to refrain from saying too much as the fact is I don't pay money to watch the team have a disappointing season. However, I have supported the millers in the past and spent lots of disposable income on much worse seasons than this one. Lets face it this is the lot of a lower league supporter and yes there are problems at the club etc and you can moan as much as you want. Just don't think it achieves much and after vising of xmas I dont think the problems are as bad as some think. Just my opinion.
