Looks like Ward wont be going to QPR, theve just signed Matt Smith from Fulham

Depends on the money being offered. If a daft bid comes in we have to take whoever up on it. As a potentially L1 striker his value will only fall. Would be a good striker in L1 but sell for the daft bid if it comes

i think if the team are serious about league 1 bounce back then we need a striker / winger who can score

think about ward on the left with yates and jch up front taylor on right with vaulks and newell in middle

hillsborough, we wont bounce straight back up. We have not got the financial clout to do so, nor have we, so far, fully assembled a squad of our own players to do so. This means a stay of at least 2 or 3 seasons to build said squad from youngsters and lower (L2/Conf) players before making another promotion attempt with a stable competitive squad. Sorry crycry

 ...which is why we should SELL Ward whilst we can, and use the cash to start to rebuild, starting from the back as our current defence could not keep a clean sheet in the Sunday League...
