Please, please, please no panic bad buys. We are going down. I would rather see the season out with what we have got and wait for the summer before recruiting than panic and recruit badly now.

Agreed. Far too late to save this season. The nightmare scenario would be another dud like Blackstock on a three year contract. As has been said, see this season out with the sh y te we have & have a productive pre season with a new manager to get properly ready for August.

Warney said on Radio Sheff that we are about to get someone on a 3 year deal. I'm all in favour of long deals for good young players, but you have to have good judgment before you give them out. I'm nervous about us giving out 3 year deals with our track record, especially near deadline day. Fingers crossed we get this one right.

Just a thought but would you, as a player, come to a club in our position with no permenant manger in place to be involved in a relegation capitulation only to be told by a new manager appointed 2 days before the new season that you are not in their long term plans ??

oh we are planning for league 1 with out a doubt

i read on some post that we already have our manager in place for next season and that he is been consulted on the transfers.

strange that this is happening if at all. why make warne manager til end of the season if we already have a replacement lined up.

so if puttington is coming with bogle

i will be interested to see the team on tuesday

with fisher belaid broadfoot injured i know that kelly can play at both positions

i have a feeling this will be the team tuesday
o donnell

forde kelly woods mattock/puttington

taylor small wood vaulks bray

yates ward is stll here if not bogle if he has signed or blackstock

so on bench
bilboe allan warren brechin, warne and hamshaw
i know you cant manage for injuries but a lot of blame to be laid at the board for this shambles i understand they dont want to over reach and things havent gone their way in regards the outlets but surely there must have been a plan B

my question is if danny ward does get sold to that hand rapist holloway it will be too late to spend it until the summer

So you hink next years manager isn't here. Mr warne is our man, he's doing a great job with what he has, let's hope he can kick on next season with several added to his flock. UTM

I really hope you are wrong. He is reluctantly doing the job for now and admits in all his interviews he doesn't want he post long term. We need a real manager not a cheap option press ganged into it by a bored chairman. My guess was that he was always getting the job for the rest of the season irrespective of results.
