Accurate write up . Fisher went wandering again and when he got back was a bit flat footed for the ball through and ROD came too far past his front post to make Armstrongs finish easy. We needed a goal but Blackstock doesnt make it on ... how bad must he be?

The fact that in a time of crisis and when we needed a goal Blackstock was behind Allan and an untried kid on loan in the pecking order says it all. He must have been on the bench purely to make the numbers up. What a disastrous signing he has been.

It's allegedly elementary, Watson.

Try to contextualise old boy.

1-0 down at home, many points adrift, ten minutes to go, three points needed, more gaffer tape on view holding people's limbs together than has ever been known, youngster Jerry Yates limping having taken a knock, and the manager goes not to our swashbuckling high profile centre forward but to Scott Allan and a welsh under-23 international with one league game under his belt.

I can't help feeling that if Towdlad had his boots with him and was sitting near the dugout, he would have got the nod ahead of Dexter.

The Case of the Vanishing Saviour.
