paul warne till end of the rainbow

So, apparently he has been told to keep the Job.

Say its all really.

He doesn't want it and is self confessed as being not up to it. He is as far as I know a fitness coach and perhaps the only one we have...who the hell knows? So, the boys will be in the "gym" not trying to bump their heads and then off  for a jog around the field and then down the chippy after a pint or two in "the lands end".

It such a poor decision .

How can any players be brought in with any enthusiasm or plan?

How does this help any sort of rebuilding?

The season has been bad but now we run the risk of alienating even more fans and setting an unenviable points record. No new manager, no plan and no belief. Its a recipe for long term defeat. PW, said how the boys lacked fight and bravery last week . Hes right but they have been pretty dire all season. so, nothing gambled and nothing won.

I hope Im not being pessimistic but I can see the bottom falling out this season and continuing next season.

some will feel its a sound or inevitable decision given our plight but I cant help but wonder how long this mind-set has been established because TS has had weeks to do something positive. The longer has has waited the more he has backed himself into a corner. I dont believe its the right way to prepare for next season.

Paul warne isn't just a fitness coach though. He has a sports psychology degree and has infectious enthusiasm.

He took over the reigns after Jackett bottled it. The one glue that held the club together. His accidental appointment ended up making financial and footballing sense. He has got rid of a few pieces of lazy dead wood already and brought back the fighter that is Smallwood.

In essence we get to pay a man for doing two jobs until the end of the season who acknowledges that we have little quality so he employs the only other option which is effort and work ethic.

Ask any of the pros. They all say the same. You know what you get with Warney. Hard work and a laugh.

Realistically I see no point whatsoever in throwing more money at this season. Save your money and rebuild at the end of the season....not August like last year.

several press sources since his appointment Glen, and listening to his interviews recently and sheer speculation looking at the obvious lack of appointment now the window is open.

Im only making it up as I go along

Our club has become a laughing stock!

Surely Tony Stewart hasn't thrown the towel in and accepted that we're already down.

I can't believe it, while ever there's points to be won we're still in with a shout aren't we?

I know with our current form it's very unlikely, but two or three wins and we're back in the mix.

Come on Millers, we're still in the Championship you know. Let's be more positive!!!!!!!

Nez.... really ? Why throw more money at the inevitable relegation! No one appointed would give more ro the cause than Warney . With JB and Polly!! Its as good as we could hope for to see this shambles of a season out . Now we build for next season .
