The only problem with bringing in players without the "psychological scar" is just after the first game they will be just as scared as the rest. This is the most humiliating season I can remember an we're only half way through.

I only hope TS has a manager lined up, like now, to start the rebuild and plan ahead for next season. At least if we have a squad of players in place we can start the season at a pace, but its going to have to be a complete rebuild again I'm afraid. The malaise is too ingrained now with this batch of players. The rot has gone too far now. Who that manager is likely to be? I haven't got the foggiest

Can't see who would want to come at the moment.

Well its been mentioned many times before and many have laughed at the suggestion, but the season is lost, its 5 hit or bust now...... I nominate Ronnie Moore as manager till the end of the season, thats if he wants it. Now dont laugh. Its a serious suggestion.

Ronnie Moore big fat no. Once your into tv/radio work you lose the motivation to be a manager. Breck shouldn't have come back. Holloway at QPR proves the point.

If we were just below mid table and stuttering a bit I would wholeheartedly agree. But the game is up, the race is run, season in effect over, nothing to play for, this parrot is dead. But we still have half a season of humiliation to go so why not have someone as interim (since Warne clearly did not want the caretaker role and only took it as there seemed to be no one else) who can at least lift spirits a bit and maybe give us something to cheer along the way to L1.

agree totally

The board is inept.

It was wrong to let PW go on managing .after receiving 50+ applicants its just beggars belief...the season was of course up many weeks ago but as it stands now with the continued lack of decision making this will be a truly humiliating points total and there is only one place to look for the culprits.

It's not fair to PW either; out of his depth and like a rabbit in the headlights with the media - he's a miller through and through but keeping him trying to manage this lot is just bad management and he's presumably the fall guy for all the stick. Why didn't we employ one of those 50+ applicants btw???
