What's really happening down at NYS?

The current situation reminds me of asset stripping and a closing down sale.

Or does the RUFC Technical Committee have a cunning plan?

It's preparing for League one that is happening.

Sending crap loan players back, ( and a decent one in izzy) off loading an over paid has been ( halford) and allowing one of our signed players to get expereince in league 1 ( ball) trying to keep pete elbow until end of season makes sense. So Whats all the fuss? We,ll be fetching a few in no doubt...id rather not though, and save the cash on wages to buy a couple of players that will do a job in league 1 . Striker, Keeper and full backs. Amazed no ones come in for frecks - his injuries must be putting clubs off , hes far too good for us and league 1. Hope Jch cones back soon and stays. He will do a job for us in L1. As will Ward, but he'll be off for a nominal fee soon.

I don't think we have to worry about losing Frecks purely because of his injury troubles. Agree with most of that. Great move sending Ball out, the young lads on three year deals need to be playing now so get them in our side or get them out on loan. Hopefully we'll keep JCH.

All I've seen this season is folk moaning about how crap everyone is, now they're moaning that they're going.

The one that annoys me though is Blackstock, what a stupid contract that was.

We are in a massive vat of pooh. The sooner the average RUFC punter realises our current and more importantly our future position under the Dear Leader the sooner this god awful situation can be addressed (not fixed) the sooner we can become a football club again not a business cash cow that will my fellow millers be dropped like a hot potatoes in the very near future

We're obviously not in a good position money wise, all that we've flushed down the bog, but other than that we're just doing what everyone expected us to do, going down. Not the end of the world. Need to start making the right decisions and get the right manager in, do that and we'll be fine, not guaranteed to happen though.

Prepare for next year, do it well and we will improve. Could be back in Don Valley in div 2.

True. A least we have a nearly new shiny stadium.

Oh, and a brilliant football pitch.

Oh, nearly forgot to mention the illustrious Miller Bear.

"WE" don't have a shiny new stadium, its 3 years old and belongs to RU Estates

Ownership is not the issue. I am familiar with that aspect of affairs.

so what we are seeing for real what the words of tony stewart are now worth in my opinion

roll back to kenny jackett appointment and did TS say or did he not say that kenny jackett would have a sizable budget to spend in january to get us out of this mess

let now come to paul warne statement of looking for previous injured players rough diamonds etc . Where is the budget that kenny jackett was supposed to have been able to spend.

1) saving it for the yet another rebuild in the summer in league 1
2) or it never existed

hence jackett did a runner cant blame him

I am so glad my father isn't around to see this debacle he will turning in his urn

It really is a debacle Hillsborough miller. Going cheap in terms of players and managers has cost us dear. No doubt cost more than buying in quality to start with. Now theres a catch phrase we dont seem to hear much these days "Quality not quantity", you have to laugh or you'd cry.

Chances missed and opportunities wasted. Landing Kenny Jackett in the first instance was a real coup. A proven and well respected manager with the class and experience we have not had in many a long year and he walks away!!!!!!!!!!! Something had to be terribly, terribly wrong.

Silence from TS. He clearly knows that he has sung the same song without substance too many times and no longer has anything new to say. He's been found out! Theres many that wont be renewing their season tickets next year and who can blame them. Its a complete and utter debacle.
