We'd be stupid NOT to sell him, but I agree for a decent fee, £500k upwards?

Unless he is offered, and signs, a new contract now.

ROTHERHAM REJECT WARD BIDS

Sky Sources understand Rotherham have rejected three bids for striker Danny Ward.

The latest bid is just under £2m.

Ward has a sell on clause in his contract from when we signed him from huddersfield at 40%.
Yes 40% you heard correct.
we are holding out for 2.5 million from what i was told yesterday but club are trying to do a deal with huddersfield to sell for 2 million and wave the sell on fee.
watch this space after newcastle match........

yes, I went on their fans website and heard similar. They are miffed about buying him back in general but the clause and getting it included in the price makes sense.  Of course, it makes other clubs realise that they will have to come in at 2.5 + to beat the Huddersfield offer if the sell on is waved.

I've heard that Blackstock is the agent for lansbury at Nottingham. Now is that against league rules. Being a players agent while being a player themselves? Someone out there will know.

Worcester - it is against the rules and, despite him reputedly being injured yesterday, I suspect his absence was down to these allegations. Everyone I spoke with at yesterday's match were hoping and praying that this will present the club with the opportunity to offload him at little/no cost.

We can only live in hope Glenn. One useless 30+ former prem striker gone, bit of luck Blackstock will follow

Yes me too, also this wouldn't have happened if Johnson had been in place before hand upstairs.
