There's no loyalty like that of a football manager!

No, I meant it Glenn. Neil was a decent player for us, loaned us players for nothing when we were broke and performed a miracle last year. This might not be quite on the same scale, but to take Greg Halford off us with a few months to go on his contract and give a fee (even a small fee) is another very welcome contribution in my book.

Let him go. He's never really shown much interest in playing for us, and Warnock was the only one who brought the best out of him. When Warnock left he lost interest again. Not been much use in a Millers shirt and not doing anything other than drawing a wage.

He is the kind of quality we need.

Another bad decision caused by out inability to hold on to the bare minimum we need at this level.

I'm really sad to see Halford go, but we've had it and he's on big wages so it's a good move. Good luck to him.

Halford's an enigma. He was brought in as a utility player and his initial games were dreadful in most positions. As Towdlad said, Warnock used him well, just in front of the back four, and his contribution helped us survive almost certain relegation. Since Warnock's departure he hasn't really made an impression and I've always had doubts about his attitude, loyalty and fitness. He definitely has ability and I think with the right manager he'll do a decent job. In summary, came with promise, disappointing delivery and ambivalent about his departure. And don't forget Vaulks as an equally long throw!

I'd drive him to Cardiff. Good piece of business ....get £10k a week of the wage bill and a fee, for a lazy has been who hardly gets a kick .

I am amazed we managed to get a penny for him.
