Evening all, Does anybody know if Odemwingie is on a Pay as Play contract? He has a notorious agent, so, knowing you haven't got the largest budget I was surprised he came to you. I expect he'll off aboard in January. It's quite shocking KJ has left so quickly. He rebuilt the Wo1ve5. Given a reasonable budget and time he could have established you as a Championship team. Any ideas who's going to takeover? anyway best wishes for the rest of the season
Oh god. It gets more depressing. After this season I fear it might be 20 years till we meet you again. ..sounds optimistic mmm

Well between Megson, Ashworth and Mowbray. All three turned our club around. It took about 9 years. Forgive my ignorance but do you ownn The New York Stadium?
The stadium is ours and odem is here until the end of Dec I think.
It's good that you own the Stadium. I Wiki'd your squad I didn't realise you had so many of our ex players with only Camp who didn't have a questionable attiaude or wasn't Championship quality or in the case of Mattock both. Izzy Brown chose the cash to sit on Chelsea's bench and his development stuntéd. Odemwingie's class BUT very very very expensive and his agent will probably try to move him in January, because, he always tries. Scott Allan never made first team and was returned from Biringham City loan due attitude problems didn't have his year's option extended. Mattock played half a season at left back before losing his place to Marek Cech. it's a shame, but surely your scout's would have picked all this up?
Izzy Brown was different class for the first 4 or 5 games, showed for the ball, tracked back, took on defenders etc, made a few mistakes which is expected from a young player. He is currently a shadow of that player and has the demeanor of someone who really doesn't want to play for a struggling team in the cold weather.
Scott Allan was dropped by our first manager of the season for attitude problems.
As for Mattock, for a player with so much experience at this level, he makes an awful lot of mistakes, although I wouldn't say he has an attitude problem.
On paper we look like a steady championship team, in reality we are a team of misfits and jagged edges.

Yeah Brown was our Academy player who we lost quite a bit of money on due to EPP. It almost caused our then Chairman Jeremy Peace to consider closing our academy, he didn't. Much like Berahino, he hasn't handled the trappings of modern football well. Scott Allan the warning signs were there. We signed him thinking he was going to be another Graham Dorrans. We should have known he was trouble when his contract details were leaked to the Daily Record while he was in dispute with the dundee manager at the time. Only any good in the lower leagues. Never made the bench for the first team. Played his face and was sent back early by Lee Clark at The Blues. Basically Scottish football level player.
