cancel his contract now !! This was disgracefull !! Should be punished further by the FA and banned for far longer than the standard 3 !!

It was a shocking challenge.  His protestations of innocence don't do him any credit either.  It looked to me like he lined the guy up (looking at him not the ball), made a point with his elbow and smashed it into his face.  He was never going to and wasn't even trying to win the ball had no reason to even jump towards the defender. Awful.  I understand a manager wanting to protect his players but I am disappointed on this occasion that the manager has tried to downplay just how bad and stupid it was.

Odemwingie weren't pre-meditated. He went up with his elbow. Wouldn't describe it has smashing there player in the face. More like there players face came in contact with Odemwingie elbow. There player played on not like Halford. Worn't that worse. There player went in with a raised foot. Straight red card but no action taken.

It looked pre-meditated to me. He looked at the player and did a forearm smash that Mick McManus would be proud of.
