Hats off to Danny Ward. To score eight goals (all from open play) in a struggling team at this stage of the season is a tremendous effort. Six of them have come away from home. He certainly isn't the finished article but he is starting to look like a good all round striker - good in the air, good work rate, a mix of types of finishes and still relatively young. I felt for him more than anyone when Ipswich's equaliser went in. He keeps scoring goals and getting very little reward for it in terms of us winning points. I think the performances of Danny Ward and recently of Darnell Fisher are the two real positives to come out of this season so far. If Danny keeps it up and we are in trouble in January what are the chances of him moving on?
Just imagine what he could have achieved with a strike partner. It must be disheartening though, but I think the team is coming together and showing promise and grit, a typical Millers side. I think his efforts will be reWARDed

agree, hes been very consistent and very good. staying fit must be plumbing the depths of his talent now and at 26 hes coming in to the best 4 years of his career as someone on the rise.
I would imagine he is catching a few eyes now. His contract is up this season. I think it will be quite a battle to keep him.
