He has now dispensed with an archaic mode of football and tried to introduce a passing game which will have more longevity as a credible style of play in the current era. He has dispensed with many of the dinosaur players and introduced fresh young talent. he has introduced and requested up to date, start of the art coaching facilities. He has thrown out a mediocre, scouting system and will be responsible for overseeing one which is suitable for modern day football. Finally he has made a big stride this week towards changing the culture of how fans support RUFC by stating that he doesn't need to be frothing like a madman on the touchline and can, by quiet reflection, coach the team. Eventually many of our "supporters" will ditch the pointless plea for "passion " on the touchline and buy into more progressive management techniques.

I did think that the Huddersfield performance was a step in the right direction and -blow me down with a feather - his interviews on player are really much more passionate and acknowledging of the club and fans. Maybe , he's waking up . Here's hoping.
