Just got back and I have to say it was better. First goal was an utter farce and 100% avoidable - let's play keeps up in front of Camp until they smash it in the net. Second half we were much better and if Fisher could cross/tackle/head the ball would have had more opportunity. Izzy dead at 70 mins but not subbed until 85 ish. Not turned the corner - still lost - but better. Players need to use their brains a bit too - what's the point of the 300 shot pre match practice if every chance we get is Skyed or goes a mile wide. Blackstock will be good - 442 at home!!!
I'd say we did all three better and in the second half we could have easily got the equaliser - they were hanging on and time wasting like it was going out of fashion (I know we would do it too). When they are dicking about with subs and taking forever to throw the ball in or take a goal kick it still counts as "possession" on the stats.
I'm not even remotely thinking survival and all that - just that after seeing every game this year (except Forest) last night was an improvement - not "the golden 20" of the wolves game - but we passed the ball out from the back and kept it! We even had 5 minutes of Dexter - hopefully by Christmas (or Easter latest) we will get a full half!
