On the whole today's performance was pretty good, but if you will switch off defensively for an innocuous free kick you WILL get punished & as for the winning goal, 99% of the time a deflection like that goes in the stand.

Izzy is gonna be a star, no doubt about that, he's far too good for us, Taylor did OK but whoever chooses the MOM in the Prawn Sandwich club must be seriously inebriated, on another day Danny Ward would have had a HT, the lad did well, Frecks was surprisingly poor today & at the risk of a backlash, Camp looked dodgy today.

On the whole a gutwrenching loss to a very poor side but I was pleased with the performance.

Have to disagree. The first half was as poor a game as you will see. What we saw were two very poor Championship sides, lacking any sort of quality and a game played at pedestrian pace. Cardiff never looked like threatening. Then we get a goal and what do we do? We do what we have done in every single home game this season, we drop the pace, we sit back and we invite them on to us. Does Stubbs never learn the lessons??? Anybody who can defend the manager after today needs their bumps felt. Next three games, no points, rock bottom of the division and Stubbsy gone. Poor manager, poor signings, poor team.

Also have to disagree Brad, the game was very poor with pub type football, Cardiff are a bad side, in fact the are really bad...but they still beat us.

I hate to say it but we lack leadership on and off the field, the first half was boring it's not good to watch

I don't think it was that bad first half. My issue was that Frecks became invisible after an hour and Newell was clearly struggling too. Needed to get legs on and keep the momentum. Their second goal was what happens when you aren't hav

Stubbs just said the same, sorry we got everything we deserved. Frecks looked average to poor because he was playing alongside Halford as defensive midfield cover. Things went horribly wrong AGAIN once we scored and decided to defend on our own 18 yard box and deeper. Stubbs not learning !!!!! Why oh Why did he not bring Yates on for the terrible Halford with 10 to go, were 2-1 down for Gods sake !!!! don't just stand there with your bloody arms crossed !!!! This team is gonna ship a sheet load over the next 3 games

I honestly don't think we did sit back today - we are just nieve in defence (letting ball bounce) and it doesn't matter if you are Barcelona that fluke second goal is going in. It's a disappointment but lots of positive stuff and I think Blackstock will come up trumps.

I disagree we got what we deserved playing the Stubbs way. He has no clue, we needed to change players while in front. But no he just stood on the touch line like a statue in madam tousaudes. Once behind it needed Yates and Blackstock bombarding their defence.

We might have been unlucky, but we have had our fair share of good luck at home, time to ditch him.

I thought we were poor against a poor team who clearly deserve to be near the bottom too.

The tiny bit of pressure they put on us saw us retreat , and yet again the writing was on the wall within a few minutes of our goal.

Evans and warnock both would say to stay in the match to 70 min's. We are never in it . The ending is as predictable as death and taxes and it makes you just as miserable.

Pull the trigger Tony but make sure you have the barrel pointed in the right direction...
