I know its a bit negative but is it me or is it all a bit like watching a washing machine go around and around...get the washing out and get it one the line.

I've got no issue with his methods, neither his experience or credentials - in that interview as well he says all the right things. But saying and doing are two different actions. Is he getting a response from his players?, is he even getting them to do what he wants them to do in the first place?, does his game management actually exist? - We all know what the problem is, the standing off, the 'jockey but thou shalt not tackle', and as for his 'possession' stance -well. Lets say his possession stance is working, that effectively says that without his management our 30% possession would be even worse, lets say its not working (stats don't lie and is probably more believable).
Someone should have told him right from the off, don't think you're going to get the calibre of players in to control football matches, you therefore need a more in your face approach and need the players who can provide that - we haven't acquired the players to do that. This is the 7th? season I've seen Rotherham in the 2nd tier, and I don't think for any period of time in that we've had a team that can 'out football' the opposition - our success has been through meanness. When RM tried to get more footballing players in, in the 4th season - look how that turned out.
