would you have him if he's released by rangers. Sure even if we wanted him we wouldn't have the funds but would you have him?

If he was a decent striker. But he is alleged to have issues especially on the training ground.

Not sure how that would transfer on to the actual field of play.

Barton was offered a 12month deal at Burnley. He chose Ranger's because they offered a 2yr deal. He's 34yrs old now and his career at Ranger's  is effectively over, or it should be if Warburton chooses to go down that route. He's done very little on the field and Ranger's have found out they can manage without him. I wouldn't touch him with a " barge pole "  far too much baggage. It's a good job he's well out of our wages budget.

Well we were calling for a new Gerry Gow not so long ago, and he would fit the bill! If he was on pay per play (he gets suspended a lot) then I'd have him, he might be a head case but he does have talent and offers bite in midfield. We won't get him.

We are in enough trouble without adding to it by bringing Barton in . Leave well alone .

not sure he has the bite anymore from what ive seen. Hes become more a a centralised sweeper and we certainly dont need that....

personally, id go in for the lad at S****horpe. He gets up and down all day and tackles, breaks up and sets in motion play from both the box to the last third and has an unbelievable attitude. They would probably want several hundred thousand for him thought as hes on a 3 year contract I hear.
