For some reason I am starting to feel a little bit more optimistic about this season. I know this player isn't fit yet, but he's quality - something we are very short of.
A useful addition yes, but our squad is still one of the weakest in this league, possibly the weakest of all. Still think we missed the boat somewhat by not making a few more signings in the transfer window. Nottingham Forest are one of the teams likely to struggle this season and yet they chose to discard Blackstock. Hopefully a new challenge will motivate him. I think we need to be patient as he's not match fit and he's likely to play a cameo role for the next few games.
