Just woke up to find that it wasn't just a nightmare. I really did have to queue 45 minutes for tickets and miss the kick off. I really did stand in the queue next to a local fella who was attending the NYS for the first time ever (with his young son) and left shaking his head to go home after 25 minutes in the queue, probably never to be seen again. And I really did see Morecambe (good luck to them) stuff five past us and threaten to get double figures. To compound my misery I just watched the goals back. Their first three goals in particular (can't believe I've just typed that) when added to the two that Wolves scored on Saturday are among the five worst defensive calamities you could ever hope to see. We have suffered a collective defensive meltdown. It is time for the experienced amongst them to stand up and be counted and show some b******s to be honest. Trying to take positives, well done to Yates who is a natural finisher still learning his trade but coming along nicely. Taylor looked a threat again although his left foot is only a swinger. And Forde seems to be settling in and growing in confidence.

Early days, yes, but heres why many of us were worried about the lack of early signings and not having an effective pre-season, one too many reverting to type. What is it about some players when they pull on a Millers shirt? Early days yes, but lets hope not another Evans/Redfearn re run
