Well it's all about to kick off as they say, what an interesting game for both sides. Two new manages and a glut of new players on both sides. No Dicko for them along with one or two further injurys so who could guess either line up or formation and style. I don't think we have won our opening game for a few years so let's hope we break that duck and get off to a flyer. It should be a good time to play wolves as mentioned earlier they are even more unsettled than we are so good luck millers I'm going 2-2.

Difficult to assess the team on such a hot day for football. On a positive note, two great goals for Ward and Vaulks. Some good patient build up play through a comfortable looking midfield. Against 11 men we looked threatening and, if Taylor would have got through rather than been pulled down for the sending off, I think he would have scored and we'd have run out winners. However, against 10 men we struggled and our centre backs were torn apart. Unfortunately Kirk had his worst game for over a season. Most of the new guys impressed and I like the look of Taylor. Think AS may well have defence as his first priority in the transfer market followed shortly after by a striker. Anyway, lots to be happy about - 8th in the Championship and the top Yorkshire side! Onwards and upwards!
