ok ian maybe vaulks and newell with forster casey playing instead of newell
and subbing freck on 60 with vaulks

but rethinking it he may play

1 witrh danny ward up front with allan playing behind him

and then subbing ward with yatesc so yates can run at the defenders

agree, very difficult one to call as not had time to see them yet and need to sort out in my head where they all would fit in that crucial defensive/creative partnerships in midfield.

Danny Ward is a cert to start up front. The big question for me is will he start with Yates up front in a 442 or will he play one of the new men Allan or Taylor playing in behind Ward? I think he will plump for the latter option and maybe go with:- Camp; Kelly, Broadfoot, Wood, Mattock; Taylor, Frecklington, Smallwood, Forster-Caskey; Allan; Ward. The bench looks strong all of a sudden with the likes of Vaulks, Forde, Halford, Thorpe and Yates there, steady experienced back up keeper in Price, Wilson when match fit, and Newell and Belaid to come back from injury. Striker or two still to come. Cautiously optimistic.

It's great! Stubbs is now spoilt for choice.
