Poll - Changing the Website

Ok I'm just asking here, but wanted your opinions on it. 

We've been on here for getting onto 3 years in November (yes I know - already!), and to tell you the truth - it's about time this site started helping local business and creating some revenue for all the time I spend on here.

I'm utterly against pop ups and stuff flashing and splashing all over the screen, I'm talking about small images that don't animate, flash, change or whatever at the bottom of the main page and possibly at the bottom of posts.  These will be local little business's that I will canvass myself, not some horrendous online sign up thing where everything and anything gets splashed on here - I'll even design the small logo's / images myself, there also might be deal in it for us with money off's or whatever.

So if you can answer the poll with your preference - and if you feel the need comment, constructive criticism is always welcome that'd be great.

It sounds okay, Exe. No pop ups, no flashing or splashing. We don't want to go down the dark path.

If the ads are just inline standard html stuff they aren't an issue - floating panels with dismiss me buttons are a ball ache

Ok - I've put on an ad test. As you can see its a still image, and will appear at the top of the board and above the 1st comment in a thread, obviously this is all provisional as yet - nobody might not want to sign up! - just want to make sure with all you guys that it's acceptable?

Can we have those ads with the big busted women in who live within 3 miles of my home and want me to sh..ag them.

We get those on millersmad and I find them very useful.

I'd like one of those as well Kempo, as for £'s - still running at an overall loss this site since starting. As for the potential of ad space, it might not even get off the ground, however I will be suggesting maybe %ages off if you quote Banter etc

I had a lass come up on my laptop who was less than 1 mile away...you guessed it, it was out lass.

irony is she answered my add for a **** buddy .

we entered counselling yesterday.
