Other irons in the fire? Laughable! Unfortunately reality i****ting home now. We are a small club who are struggling to compete at this level despite the usual bluster from our chairman. Stand by for a load of cast offs. Plan C indeed!!

in this market and not knowing what he went for we need to be a little bit circ um spect.
If we offered half a million and barnsley went 600k plus a grand more in wages then we have to have a line and at those prices for Bradshaw I think its a line worth respecting...but we just dont know...it could turn out to be a great miss for us, just like a certain Scottish player many lost their heads over but turned out to be crap...

Record transfer fee my arse, we ARE & will always be bottom feeders relying on the "experienced" (crocked 30 somethings) pros who are after a last payday before retirement & loanees from PL clubs. I'm sorry Mr Stewart, you have my undying respect & gratitude for what you have done & continue to do for RUFC but this continual bull**** every summer is frankly boring!!!
I am just not interested in why the deals fell through again, maybe these players are not willing to accept what most division 2 clubs would pay them , all I know is that these deals always fall through !!
TS talks of mid to top end of tables .... what a joke ...we will be lucky to finish 23rd this season !!
The fact is TS can talk about the Premier League all he likes , but unless we start competing financially for players he is living in dreamland .
The reality is that Bradshaw and Gregory will probably be back at NYS this season and will probably both score against us for other clubs, I wonder if then TS we will live to regret not spending on those players !!
I know it's easy to spend others money , but if these players were our clubs number one targets then surely you try your best to get them , otherwise your going after players that are not as good you would think or they would have been number 1 targets
