Do we have to pay large sums of money for real talent?

What ever happened to the scouting system?

How many times is the club going to roll that one out . Getting slightly worried about the lack of signings now , i can see us left with all the scraps nobody else wants .

I'm not too concerned really. I do grumble but as an old git I'm allowed, . But I do get a bit frustrated about the news of who isn't signing for us

Ok then, if you take this as a statement of fact rather than fiction where are we?

Record is £400k so let's double that to £800k, what in this division would you get for £800k?

Sadly, not much.

Anyway it's not about transfer fees it's about agents costs and the big one, wages.

900K would more than likely see Tom Bradshaw at our club.

10K a week in wages, let's see what happens in the next ten days.

It seems to me that everyone is guilty of spin regarding who or who should not come in. The press, this forum, the club - it's all a bit of a game but it keeps things ticking over whilst there's no footie to talk about. What will be, will be and there's no point losing too much sleep about it.

For what it's worth, I like the way Stubbs is going about his business and I'm hoping we'll all be impressed with his results.
