underwhelmed to be honest.

Lots of gaps in between the " obvious talent" quotes.

It is true however that some players really become strong and skillful around the 26-28 yrs of age and go on to have a much better latter part of their career.

Rotherham United seem to have missed out on signing striker Anthony Stokes.

It's being reported in the media that the twenty-seven year old, who was with Alan Stubbs at Hibernian last season on loan from Celtic, is having a medical with Blackburn Rovers and/or has signed a three-year deal at Ewood Park.

Rotherham United seem to have missed out ,think we might be seeing this statement on a regular basis.

Charlton, now a league 1 club with no parachute payments, have signed Ajose from Swindon for £800k.

We simply cannot compete.

Stubbs will soon realize the budget, although large at the side of hibernian,s ,is tiny in comparison to most other teams in this league.

I think he has a few home truths coming his way. But at least we aren't getting the Evans scattergun system.

That depends how much we wanted and how hard we tried to keep him. If we offered him half his previous wage and the Cypriots rate him more than we do, then it doesn't really tell us anything at all.

Except maybe that we are better judges of a player than they are.
