Didn't take long did it?

Met a Millwall fan over here in the summer and he was desperate to get to the Euros. A real stereotype in his late forties and just wanted to go for an old fashioned tear up. like talking to a fat Danny Dyer.

Makes me Sad, Sick and Angry.

Sad because we can’t enjoy a football Championship without morons spoiling it.

Sick because some of the scenes you see, like when Millwall came to NYS, is carried out by things that are not human and need putting down like the animals they are.

Angry because you could surely identify some of these idiots from the TV coverage, yet they will get no punishment when instead they are allowed to spoil it for 100s of fans there in France who are only there to enjoy the football, and spoil it for Millions of us watching in the UK who are ashamed that they come from our Country. My old Dad who fought in the war and grafted all his life would have said ‘shoot them’ ... certainly they ought to be locked up and the key thrown away, although not sure my Dad was wrong at times, makes my blood boil.... Grrrrrr

Who were the real troublemakers in Marseilles tonight?

Some reports are that a small group of Russians supporters kicked off first.

It's been alleged that the French Police then overreacted and let fly with both tear gas and water cannon at some England supporters.

From what I have seen the Russians did most of the attacking. If they punish both sets of fans is that not punishing the victim?

Also if they are to ban dodgy people from attending football matches then ban FIFA.

I can't believe people are defending the English saggy-titted yobs.

Yes the Russians caused the trouble in the ground but there had been 3 days of rioting prior to that and many English grunting morons were right in the thick of it. And that's not to mention the 35 years of chaos that English football fans have caused abroad

It is sad that innocent people got hurt and I have every sympathy for those  genuine fans. However I have none for the English hooligans whatsoever.

For once they come up against some genuine hardmen and got a taste of their own medicine. Is it any wonder a large portion of Europe feel that England hooligans (not genuine fans) had that coming.

Hopefully the fact that their reputation as the most feared hooligans in Europe, which has now been exposed as a complete myth,  and that they are now a laughing stock will make them think twice before they start trashing another foreign city.

They don't wear uniforms. They are the police.

The hooligans were all happy to include the vulnerable and the innocent. The French let it happen and then went in hard - this dispersed the hooligans. Not forgetting that the Marseilles Ultras were in the mix.

So therefore ban France, England and Russia from playing football because a few morons can't behave. Try punishing the morons. Throw them in jail and keep them there until the end of the tournament. Problem reduced.

I agree ban and jail the troublemakers...but let's be honest England are the Millwall of international football. There a good Millwall fans and good England fans but there is a history of violence going back years.

But the team should now be banned. We can't keep giving these knuckle draggers a platform

Whatever occurs the banning threat is just that, a threat, it won't happen.

Too much money involved and gives all sorts of issues to do with ticket refunds, travel cost claims, sponsors losses etc etc

Anyway why would it deter a determined hooligan that has no interest in the games and has no ticket?

The knobheads would wear it as s badge of office, "we got Engkand banned"
