Nice one Worcester, no one in my household are interested in football at all, although Towdlass did make her very first game at the Forrest game and wants to go again. We live in hope
I love the kids to come with me to a game however, is it just my lot or do everyone's kids turn up without a Dime? Then proceed to inform me that they, "would like a pie", "are thirsty", and "can I get some sweets now"..............and that's before we have even kicked off!!!!!!
You've gotta luv em!
Over the years I have added several fans only for them to slip away after a few seasons.
I have hopefully passed the virus to my 8 year old who came to most games last season with me and I am hopeful my 5 year old will.
I perhaps might not have helped the 5 year old as we went to a sports shop and he wanted the Belgium kit. Last week our new Millers tops arrived and we all got changed into them...he insisted on keeping the Belgium top underneath and declaring that Belgium and Rotherham were best friends and helped each other...dont they Dad! As my 8 year old shouted at him that he was stupid.
I must be lucky - my lad who's nearly 10 never asks for anything unless I ask him! - If we need a goal I tend to tell him to get his programme out and start reading - I've lost count how many times that works!
The MM site was losing its way as more and more posters were using it to preach rather than to comment on football and RUFC related stuff.
The latest update by the powers that be at footymad introduced a very clunky interface and a shed load of unnecessary spyware so it was cheerio from me.
