Following a hard thought victory in the Prediction League, my winners medal and prizes arrived today. And what superb prizes they were!

I received a Millers mug and a book going through our League 1 play off winning campaign match by match. I have only flicked through a few pages so far but what memories it brought back!

Fantastic prizes for a fantastic prediction league. I've already started compiling my notes on the squads for next season in the hope that I can get off to a flyer.

I have just checked the latest odds on Bet365 and was surprised to see that I am only 2nd favourite behind TTB. Selected current odds are:

TTB: 11-10

Oneaday: 2-1

Exeter: 7-2

S8: 5-1

Unifer: 8-1

Ian: 12-1

TLA: 16-1

Andy M: 20-1

Glass: 25-1

Worecester: 33-1

MMM: 50-1

As for next season odds , I too was surprised to see TTB installed as favourite. My own analysis is that while TTB may have a good forward line there are clear weaknesses down the spine. There was also the key issue of discipline from last season. A lot will depend on this I feel. __________________

Congrats to Oneaday and thanks to Ian for the time and effort. With his 92% prediction accuracy rate, TTB is surely nailed on for the big prize next season. I for one will be backing him at those odds if he (or she?) decides to take part. I will be recruiting heavily and having a go next season after a limber up in the last campaign. The clever money however may be on Towdlad for an each way place if he can be tempted to enter. With his canny football brain and Ranieri/Warnock like experience he might be the real one to watch.
