Its here-The End of our season. Thank you to all that have taken part and especially those who have been able to stay the course.

Week 46 results

 

Exeter leaves his best till last with a record busting 5 correct scores. I dont know the odds but hats off. He has had several 4s before, so he has a penchant for the sublime but 5 on the final day takes him into Quantum perception. 

It was a huge day for Unifier as his 92 minute goal at deepdale ignited the heart and despite an otherwise poor 91 minutes of the final game, his team did enough to heartbreakingly pip S8 in the final minute of the final game of a long and glorious struggle for runner up spot.

It sure was cruel and I thought you were going to wrap up 2nd place from quite some time ago but Unifier kept pegging you back. Both of you had great form in the last third which is why it went to the wire , but yes, a cruel fate to lose in the last minute of the last game to the biggest single bonus all season. Enough to make one want revenge 😈😇😈

By the way, Ian. Thank you for a most entertaining Prediction League mate. Your bonuses sometimes took some consideration mate, and it must have exercised your grey matter a little to come up with them.
