If he's our manager next season I would be delighted but honestly can't see it.

To be honest, he looked a bit bored with it all after the match on Saturday.

He should be thanking RUFC for giving him a chance when no-one else would. Not many teams in the championship would let him manage the team 3 days a week. It has given him the chance to put himself in the shop window and to be honest I reckon if someone else comes knocking he will be off.

50-50

He never says what he means and he is a master of understatement so I wouldnt read too much into his play on words.

He loves to leave gaps in his answers to questions and is as wily and old fox as they come.

all will be revealed.

I don't think he ever needed to put himself in the shop window. His choice is now between a full hard week at a promotion chasing team or 3 days a week at a struggling team. We definitely need an experienced manager, it's blatantly obvious that our set up is nearer div1 than the championship. The infer structure on the playing side from warnocks comments is still not there. We need investment to compete at this level, which means more advertising, more sponsorship and more bums on seats. Without these things I think we have reached our potential.we could of course always get lucky and sign a few vardys who turn out to be gems but if we take Leicesters route its once every 130 years.

I was bored sat'. There was no edge to the game, side Neil put out was to predictable. Subs he put on why Richardson & Thomas surely they won't be here next season.

Trouble is can't think of no one else if NW turns us down. But I'm abit worried about his retained list, don't want old pals act, Kenny, Doyley or Thomas or the likes or the likes of Richardson or Best.

Correct Fliker, but its a bit like the old chicken and egg syndrome. What comes first? In my view TS has to capture Warnock, and listen to his proposals and then do his upmost to fulfil the proposals (re training ground etc)

As regards Warnock himself, which promotion chasing Championship side would be prepared to take on a manager who only wants one year, even with the pedigree, respect and experience that Warnock clearly has. Nothing is guaranteed for either party. I'm sure an ambitious club with the wherewithal to back the ambition up, would be looking longer term,. particularly if the ambition of the Prem were to become reality. In which case they would want to see continuity not a shake of the hand and a wave bye bye.

If he were to go to Villa for example and didn't get the promotion, his ambition would have been a failure in his last season in management. I'm sure he would rather go out on a high.

For us, on the other hand, that one seasons stability and team building could well be enough to get the club on a firm footing. One years grace to put all those things that Fliker mentions in place.  The legacy would be one of success. Win win all round from my perspective.

A game of two halves-both dull.I looked at the team and realised , that for all the talk of giving the fringe players a run now that we were safe,it was a case of going unbeaten for another game and unfortunately it didn't work.

It may also be a case of not getting who we would like for  next season, more a case of who will come, such as Doyley,Thomas etc.cry

I would really welcome Thomas. I thought he was superb in that last third . I think we'd be very lucky to have him. He would be a good squad player and if he stays fit possibly a real star at times.

Let's not be too hasty as we all celebrate what Leicester have achieved. The way warnock set the team up just shows what can be done . Pure organisation of the assets and belief clearly can go a long way.
