With only 6 games left and a 6 point buffer plus a relatively decent goal difference, what have the teams below us got to do to catch us? I'm optimistic and think that we only need one more point. Here's why:
Bolton - not worth considering - they've gone.
Charlton - possible wins against Bolton and Leeds, draws against QPR and Brighton - 8 points - total 44 but dreadful goal difference
MKD - possible wins against Brentford and Forest - 6 points - total 43- with worse goal difference than RUFC.
Looking at recent form, Charlton worry me more than MKD. However, both these teams are going to have to put together a run of form like ours to threaten us and I just can't see it happening with the teams they have to play.
A point or 3 at MKD on Saturday will put us beyond the reach of those below us I reckon. Foolish - possibly, confident - reasonably, optimistic - you bet.
Should be around 3000 of us at MKD on Saturday for the decider!
If we get 4 points with MK & Forest in any order I think will mathematically be enough - Huddersfield and Blackburn we're very capable to get 3-6 points too - would be great going into that last home game knowing we're safe (party time) & will just outline the utter coupon busting job NW and the players have done. If I were TS I'd be telling them all a 7 days lads holiday is on the horizon if they do it!
I think losing to us this weekend might kill MK off and they still have to play the owls (for once I want them to win).
I'm taking 5 of the 3000!
Just cannot believe what NW has achieved and had almost accepted L1 football next year.

I have to admit that in a fit of depression following the defeat away at Reading, I predicted that not only would we be relegated but that we would finish bottom! I recorded this prediction in an email which was returned to me within seconds of the final whistle at Molineux! Lesson there!
I'm therefore grateful that my mood had improved by the MK Dons away match and I'm pleased to say that the boys delivered and so did MK Dons and Charlton.
What a brilliant end to the season - beyond my wildest dreams. Well done to the management team, the players, the supporters and everyone on here who kept the faith!!
