Just looked at the previous 16 Lge matches and here is the Warnock Effect in all its glory.

Since he came in Against Birmingham 8 games ago we have only shipped 7 goals

In Redfearns last 8 Lge matches we shipped 17 goals, just over a 50 % difference.

Lets also look at outcomes as well.

Warnock W - 4 / D 2 / L-2 - again 50 % win rate.

Redfearn W - 2 / D - 1 / L 5 - 25% win rate.

So if the current crop of players are reacting like this considering they were the same players in the previous 8 , NW has the Midas touch, and i for one would class this turnaround and survival as up there with winning at Wembley in 2014.

I think you all can see just what a good manager he is, he has motivated the players, the crowds, not rocked the boat too much, and TBH, he has man managed Halford in such a way where if he isnt playing i do believe we are now weaker( i cant beleive i am saying this)

as long as we finish just a strong, the fight is not over till the mathematics say different, but i do believe the night match against Huddersfield will be the one where we seal survival.

Another crazy Tuesday night in Rotherham ahead.

Unlike Evans in that he was always talking about bringing someone else in, hardly does much to foster morale in the ranks does it. I see on the Leeds forum they're saying how he's always saying how his squad isn't good enough, whereas NW talks up the squad, gave everyone a chance and never said a bad word against them, you cant help liking and giving your all to someone who treats you with fairness and respect

I like the Keep the Faith sign off Worcester.

Warnock has made some decisions that would have attracted big criticism if they had not worked out. To name a couple, the Kenny signing was bizarre and he has regularly left out Joe Newell who most people (me included) seem to think has been a stand out player for us this season. He has also played 451 on the whole, and we know how popular that can be. When the results work out well, nobody will question those things.

Not wanting to be a harbinger of doom, but whilst we have worked really hard and made ourselves very difficult to beat and I give everyone enormous credit for that, we have also had a bit of (hard earned and overdue) luck here and there. I doubt that it will be plain sailing from now until the end of the season. We have not suddenly turned into the best team in the league. We still have our weaknesses and limitations. Derby exposed them for 80 minutes. Listening to NW it is clear that he knows that very well. There will be twists and turns. I hope that everyone will stay behind NW, KB and the whole squad if we have a difficult patch because they certainly can't be faulted for giving it their all which is what they are doing.

I think if we finish above MK Dons we stay up, and it is very possible that we can and will. That will be a great achievement.

I agree smiler we have for a change had our share of Lady Luck And there is nothing so certain that between now and the end we will take a 2-3 game tumble but fingers crossed so will the others. Four points from the next three games would put us in good stead. Utm __________________

Worcester is right ,it is a remarkable turn around.

The key has been the consistency.

Both Steve Evans and Redfern played some good footie at times but rarely did we look as well drilled and compact as in these last 8 games.

Thats been it really. A certain belief and awareness in the manager translated to the team and we are now a well drilled outfit.

I have never believed any result is mere chance and I think in team as in individual sport you get what you deserve each match.

Neil Warnock has got it right and has played it well to the percentages. He has brought the best out of most players and got them all doing it with one focus.

We may well falter as its neigh impossible to have a sustained run like we are having but the thing is if we dont lose our nerve we are much better than at any time this season and so should avoid the drop on that basis...unless the other 2-3 teams around us find similar form at the same time.
