Fantastic...

Still work to do but unlike our previous managers, Warnock will know how to motivate a team to take advantage of these fantastic results, rather than blow it...

Home game against Leeds will be tasty, we owe 'em one ...

It's not over by a long way (remember Charlton & Bolton?) but NW has instilled an unbelievable will to win in the lads, the same lads who didn't seem to be bothered under the previous regime. We now stand a hell of a chance.

Fabulous and amazing form.

No luck really just hard work and growing belief.

What has impressed me has been how he has motivated just about everyone and rotated the squad and they have gone on that field as a team.

Seen highlights it was a scruffy goal, game looked same.

Danny Ward had a back problem 2hrs before the game, Wood was on the bench so he can't have been 100%.

Leeds game like to see Newell start with D Ward on his own up front. Newell & G Ward are our key players at home, Newell by skill, G Ward by pace can turn pressure into chances + there's always Frecks ghosting in for chances.

Will fat/boy slim still be there in 2 weeks time?

And for once the other teams around us dropped points,we have the right man in charge with virtually the same squad as the previous managers.

Its called square pegs in round holes situation and Warnock has brought the board with square holes to the training ground.

A couple of observations. Not taking anything away from the lads but it does seem to help when the opposition has had a midweek game and we haven't. That seemed to pan out well for us at the back end of last season too. Secondly, teams seem to have a habit of playing badly against us. Well it is getting to be too much of a coincidence. Perhaps soon we might get more credit for being well organised and working hard, and making it difficult for them to play, which is a legitimate part of the game. Thirdly, get yourself a reputation as being decent and it becomes self-fulfilling. Big Mick says he chose the side he did (and left out their creative players) because they 'knew what was coming' - in other words they were worried about us and it had a negative effect on them. Fourthly, who cares how we are doing it anyway! Just enjoy!

I actually thought the goal was excellent.

Also noted that G.Ward had the other best chance with perhaps pringle for them.

Great team effort yet again.

Everyone doing what waa required with Halford crucially  coming from nowhere to stop Feeny running all the way to goal .

Looked very organised again. Get the ball out and close the spaces and break up their posession all the time while breaking wide.

Top stuff and everyone believe's they can...
