Still work to do but unlike our previous managers, Warnock will know how to motivate a team to take advantage of these fantastic results, rather than blow it...
Home game against Leeds will be tasty, we owe 'em one ...

It's not over by a long way (remember Charlton & Bolton?) but NW has instilled an unbelievable will to win in the lads, the same lads who didn't seem to be bothered under the previous regime. We now stand a hell of a chance.

Seen highlights it was a scruffy goal, game looked same.
Danny Ward had a back problem 2hrs before the game, Wood was on the bench so he can't have been 100%.
Leeds game like to see Newell start with D Ward on his own up front. Newell & G Ward are our key players at home, Newell by skill, G Ward by pace can turn pressure into chances + there's always Frecks ghosting in for chances.
A couple of observations. Not taking anything away from the lads but it does seem to help when the opposition has had a midweek game and we haven't. That seemed to pan out well for us at the back end of last season too. Secondly, teams seem to have a habit of playing badly against us. Well it is getting to be too much of a coincidence. Perhaps soon we might get more credit for being well organised and working hard, and making it difficult for them to play, which is a legitimate part of the game. Thirdly, get yourself a reputation as being decent and it becomes self-fulfilling. Big Mick says he chose the side he did (and left out their creative players) because they 'knew what was coming' - in other words they were worried about us and it had a negative effect on them. Fourthly, who cares how we are doing it anyway! Just enjoy!
